The Problem
The original table sold by the lathe company was not in stock, so the requirement was for a heavy-duty replacement with space for lathe-specific tools and the original drip tray.

Outcome
A table easily fabricated from box-section steel with laser-cut wall panels welded in place, plus a slide-out MDF drawer for quick access to frequently used tooling.
